Sam Sobo is a Los Angeles-based producer, mixer and sound engineer. He attended Cal State Northridge for a Bachelors in Music Industries Studies while also playing drums for several bands such as, Papafish, Tangent Transmission, and Madus. After college he got an internship at Grey Area Studios with Erik Ron (Godsmack, Hands Like Houses, Slaves).

Though he comes from a rock background he enjoys working with many different genres. Most recently he recorded an EP for indie-folk artist J.B. Boone called Severe Adventures.  The single, “Hico” has been gaining traction and the rest of the EP will be out Fall 2019.  In contrast, last year he worked with Cusi Coyllur to create a Latinx song with Peruvian instruments called “Our DNA is Resiliency” that caught the attention of She Shreds magazine.
